Rare 1840 dated Galveston Texas Court document listing personal items that a Mr."P. McLaughlin" had stored away in his estate. It is a larger sized paper that folds in half. It measures 15 X 12.5 inches when unfold fully. It is in good overall condition. It does not have the words REPUBLIC OF TEXAS on it but it does date from the Republic of Texas period. Beautiful handwriting and from Galveston which is getting a little harder to find. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION. Please DO NOT bid on this if you do not plan on paying for it.
