OLDWARES AUCTIONS" ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES Indian Temples Purple Transferware Plate Offered on auction at $9.99 with no reserve is this old, circa 1840 purple transferware plate in the Indian Temples pattern made by Thomas & John Carey. The plate is only marked with the pattern, but I found the maker on the internet. The plate is in very nice condition with no chips, flakes, cracks or agelines. There is a tiny, tiny fleabite on the top edge (see close-up) and a little bit of discolor on the edge, but not bad at all. The plate measures 10 1/2" across and weighs 1 1/4 pounds. I have other old Staffordshire transferware listed and will combine shipping. * INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS * If you choose 1st class shipping, there is no insurance or delivery confirmation available.
