You are bidding on:A beautiful Republic of Texas obsolete bank note CR A4, dated February 1, 1840. Cross cuts are evident and there is no tape on the front or back. Serial number 4915. On the back, the red ink of the designs on each side, the star in the middle and the letters TEXAS are very clear and clean. Paper is only bent in very small locations and all 4 corners are in great condition. Written in ink on the back is the following: "Certificate to be issued in the name of ? Hirschkoff." I can only read the first letter of the first name, which is a W. Bank note is in plastic and since I have owned it, it has never been removed from said plastic. As with all my auctions, 10% of the final sales price will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Central Texas. The winner will receive the exact note pictured, via standard shipping with a tracking number and signature confirmation. Good luck, and !
