This auction is for a fabulous antique Staffordshire child's tea set by G. F. Bowers Tunstall Potteries. Dates around the 1840's. 13 piece set. The tea pot is 5" tall. Condition as follows:Teapot: Excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Sugar : Lid has a small hairline. The bowl was badly broken and repaired. Not sure if professional restoration could be done. It displays well from the other side, and really isn't even too noticeable from the bad side at a casual glance. Creamers - There are 2 creamers. One is excellent with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The other has a couple fine hairline and a couple small brown stains near the spout. Bowl : 1 hairline as shown. Teacups: One has a neatly repaired handle, as shown. Otherwise both are in excellent condition. Saucers : One has a small shallow chip on the foot on the bottom (very minor). The other has a fine 1.5" hairline through the center. Only visible partially from the front if you look for it. Plates : Excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs.The set has bright colors and is really in pretty nice shape for the age.The flat rate shipping is for the lower 48 states.
