1841 Graphite or Pencil Drawing Bourse d'Anvers Antwerp

Lace Paper Self Boarder

This listing is a 1 3/4" x 3" hand drawn graphite or pencil drawing in the center of a 3 1/4" x 4 3/8" deeply embossed heavy stock lace paper self border. It depicts Bourse D'Anvers, in Antwerp Belgium. Dated 1841. Signed "J". Finely executed and detailed imagery. The embossed die-cut card stock is marked MANSELL (Embosser, and lace-paper makers, early valentine makers 1840-60s) . Reverse is blank. PLEASE NOTE: this is indeed a hand done graphite work, in the images it appears to be printed.
