FRENCH COLONIES1843 - 5 CENTIMES FINE GRADE PRETTY 19th CENTURY BRONZE ISSUE! Solid fine example of this 5 Centimes bronze issue from France issued for general use in the West Indies Adequate fine detail and naturally pretty deep brown appearance Minimal marks considering age and issue but reverse has too much center wear to make any higher grade Hard coin to find even this nice and it will make a wonderful, meaningful addition to most World coin collections! Minimal marks considering issue and age. Obverse depicts laureate head of Charles X facing to left. Reverse value within wreath with date and mint mark "A (Paris)" to left of date. If you can live with the heavier wear reverse center, this is a wonderful example from the early 19th Century West Indies for any collection. This item was part of my husband's collection.
