We are very pleased to present this spectacular selection from the "CL Collection" of US Large cents, 1816-1857. This is a collection formed over several years by a collector with a critical eye sharply focused on a combination of high grade and superb surface quality. We will be selling these wonderful coins over the next few months right here on ebay. Keep an eye out for our offerings! 1846 N.18 Small date Large cent, NGC graded MS-65 BN. Other than a couple, minute ticks, this coin is nearly perfect. There is complete, strong, satiny luster covering the essentially mark-free surfaces. There are hints of mint color remaining and the overall aspect is much more golden-amber-brown than it is brown. The strike is full and the coin is astoundingly beautiful. As with all of the coins from this splendid collection, this one was selected for it's excellent surface quality and eye appeal - and those criteria were met in spades! As always, the stark white NGC holder has caused the coin to be under-exposed, though in this case, only slightly so. Please note our "5-Star" shipping service which always includes insurance!
