For your bidding pleasure we present an eight place set of silverplated flatware. This 52 piece set is the lovely popular pattern "FIRST LOVE" by 1847 Rogers Bros. introduced in 1937. Flatware consist of the following: 8 Dinner Knives 9 1/2" (stainless steel blades 5") 8 Dinner Forks 7 3/4" 8 Salad Forks 6 3/4" 16 Teaspoons 6 1/4" 8 Tablespoons 7 3/8" 2 Serving Spoons 8 1/2" 1 Sugar Spoon 6" 1 Master Butter 6 3/4" Set is in Very Good Used Condition. No monogram, bends, plate loss or major damage. The pieces do have minor surface scratches. We mention for accuracy, most could possibly be polished off. This set has the original hard wood storage chest, appears from the 40's or 50's, which is optional to the winning bidder. The inside of the chest is clean and mighty pretty with the soft silk lining and dark pink felt. It is in good functional working order and contains a bottom drawer for additional storage. The outside of the case is very good, has little wear and a few little scuffs. The knife holders on the right side of the case are a little loose, could easily be fixed with the right know how. The weight with case is 14 pounds, without case is 8 pounds. Calculated cost on this item will be without case. If with case desired, we will ship FedEx or UPS Ground and that shipping cost will be figured after the auction ended. We will be happy to answer any questions.
