Antique Leather Bound Bible The Bible, containing theOld and New Testaments, translated out of the Original Tongues And With the Former Translation Diligently Compared and Revised New York - American Bible SocietyInstituted in the year 1816 1848 Vintage book in good to very good condition. No dust jacket as issued. The covers are still soft and pliable. The leather is not cracked up, but there is minor edge wear and the closure still works nicely. There is minimal rubbing and bumping on the corners and edges, except for the upper right corner has a pretty big ding or bend for the first 105 pages, looks like someone dropped it hard - see scan. The pages are clean. All edges are gold gilt AEG The binding is good and tight and all the pages are attached. There are no writings in the book. There is a name on the outside of the leather in gold - Ann Eliza Griffing . The pictures here in this listing are of the actual book, not a stock photo. If you need more, let me know.
