1849-1854 GOLD DOLLAR LOVE TOKEN ENGRAVED "ANNIE" This auvtion is for the Gold Love Token coin pictured below. This token has been engraved on a Type One Gold dollar of 1849-1854. It is engraved "Annie" with a border and flourishes around the name. ABOUT US: Wright's Coin Shop was founded in Asheville, North Carolina in 1973 by William J. Wright. The shop's beginnings in the charming mountain town were humble enough, that first shop was in a 200 square foot office in the back of a small shopping center. However, Mr. Wright's approach to the coin business brought rapid growth. By 1976 Mr. Wright had become a prominent name in the the hobby and been elected President of the NCNA (North Carolina Numismatic Association), becoming the youngest President in the Association's history at age 27. After 40 years, Mr. Wright can still be found at his shop on Sweeten Creek Rd. in South Asheville every day.
