Exceptional Painted Stack of Wood Measures Circa. 1850’s- Signed Best Yellow Paint! character of the measures A very rare stack of 5 stacked and nested wood measures. The measurers boast the very best yellow painted exterior surfaces, all of which appears to be painted at the time of construction as they all appear to match and have the same wear to them. They are signed in the interior by a maker in Mass., they are hard to read but are marked in everyone as some have almost worn the makers name off. The stack is an exceptional offering and are very tight and sturdy and thus stack well. They boast the very classic tight seem constriction of small tacks and wood pegs. Exceptional!
