There are many fine and desirable objects for auction in many materials to include silver, bronze ,copper and some very fine stamps from the 1893 Columbian Expo, exquisite workmanship and relief to many of these example, Some are very large and heavy. Notable Features : This auction is for an incredibly rare pair of medals , one silver and one copper for the 1855 Exposition for the Jury , designed by Albert Barre and presented to Mr G Love by the Imperial Commission. A fabulous and rare piece of historical significance from this exposition. Comes in original box Dimensions : Please see images to show measurement. Included in the images is either a UK penny coin / USA dime OR a ruler in cm's and inches to give a good visual impression of size Condition: Excellent for age.
