THIS IS A 7 DAY AUCTION FOR 1 VTG 1977 Framed Picture of 4 Obsolete Notes $5, $20, $50, $100 These have never been graded or opened since 1977 Please read all of this. Pictures are from behind the glass so they might be a little hard to see email if you need more. *I am not an expert But I do collect coins and money. So I do know a little about grading coins not to much about paper money. All of these are in *Perfect Almost Untouched shape they have no folds or tears in them. I will not give you a grade on them, but if they were to be professionally graded they would grade well above an AU and possible in the Uncirculated Condition. See all the pictures. The $50 does have some watermark that has bled thru from the back of the note, not from water. This is wonderful treasure of 4 different notes that all are in awesome shape. They are in remarkable shape. Feel free to ask questions or for more pictures. The frame measures 15” x 19” outside the frame and 11 ¾” x 15 ½” inside frame. It is a dark wood frame with gold trim on the inner edge. It has a green back ground that has two different colors, I am unsure if this is the original way the did it or not. It does have a glass covering. And is in very good shape all original shape. See the back it has never been opened, that I can tell it does have a small tear across the paper in the back. The notes are: 1 Five Dollar Citizens Bank of Louisiana 1 20 Dollar Canal Bank 1 50 Dollar Canal Bank 1 100 Dollar Canal Bank The 5 dollar says Patented 30 June 1857. And American Bank Note Company. The 20, 50 & 100 all say New Orleans Canal Banking Company and they also say Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edison N. Orleans & N.Y. There is a date at the bottom of the picture of 1977. The side of it says Obsolete Notes and Broken Bank notes prior to 1861. It does say that all of the note are genuine and not reproductions and are at least 100 years old and that was in 1977. All of them are unsigned notes. I have been watching some of these single notes sell for $40 or more for just one note, and some of them are even circulated and torn. In this auction you get all four notes for one price.
