...1858 BYRON'S COMPLETE POETICAL WORKS...Wonderful Antique Book of Poetry, THE POETICAL WORKS OF LORD BYRON, COMPLETE IN ONE VOLUME, ILLUSTRATED, NEW YORK, PUBLISHED BY LEAVITT & ALLEN 1858. Do not know if it is a First Edition or not. Contains 935 numbered pages all still attached to spine. Hard Bound book done in a dark blue with fancy engraving in light gold covering the surface. On spine has a picture of Lord Bryon. Portion of the tan part missing. Measures 9 5/8 x 6 5/9 x 2 5/8. Corners and spine ends show wear. Engraving of the author next to title page has some foxing to it. DURFEE, KINNEY & CO. label attached to interior. Pen written phrase on interior blank page stating what will happen to you when you die if you Steal this book. MARTHA A. PARK'S BOOK, HOOVERSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA written in pen on next blank page. Some foxing to first few pages. A few tiny edge tears, nothing major. Pages are a little wavy. Slight discolor but still basically in great condition for a 150 year old book. No scribbling or repairs and quite clean. Found some inserts at some of the pages, feathers, leaves, papers, that I thought the buyer would like to have included. Super piece.
