$7,995.00 for this original antique Civil War 1858 STARR Army revolver in excellent condition with most of the original bright shiney blue finish and case hardening still present. The gun has a single action and was really much ahead of it's time. It's a .44 caliber 6 shot revolver with 6" round barrel and was used by the Union Army during the Civil War; this model also gained some noteriety due to it's use by CLINT EASTWOOD in "THE UNFORGIVEN". The action is tight and crisp and the barrel rifling is excellent also. The grips are virtually perfect with nice clear military cartouches, (inspector's marks), on both sides and no scratches or chips visable. The grips are quite unique as someone, the original owner perhaps, has carved them with a great checkered pattern being very careful not to damage the inspector's cartouches. There were approx. 23,000 of these manufactured and this is serial number 8663. Email me at if you have any questions or need more pictures.
