Map of 1860 United States showing boundaries of the Union & Confederate Geographical Divisions December 31, 1860 Showing Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri and parts of Indian Territory, Kansas, and Texas, along with the states of the Union and Western States. An Original Plate from The Atlas of the Union & Confederate Armies. Part 33. Plate CLXII. Original 1895. 113-yrs-old. Map is in Excellent condition: No marks, writing, tears, or foxing. Not a Reproduction. Single fold as issued. An exceptionally rare plate, as it is the first of the series showing the Confederacy from December 31, 1860 until April 12, 1865, this plate showing the lone state of South Carolina which was the only state which had officially seceded from the Union as of December 31, 1860.
