You are bidding on a 1860 J.H. Wilson & Co. US Sword with Scabbard and Leather Sheath.It is a beautiful piece with ornate decoration on the blade, it says U.S. on one side and has an eagle on the other.The sheath is made of soft leather, possibly lamb skin.Brass handle has an adjustable hand piece.Tassels appear to not be part of the original sword.It was made in Philadelphia. The blade measures 27.5 inches and the handle is 6 inches. The entire sword is 33.5 inches long.Shipping will be $22.00 and will come with insurance and tracking. Good Luck. Thank you.
