ANY QUESTIONS WELCOME THIS 1860 SWORD IS THE WORKHORSE MODEL, PERFECT FOR THE BATTLEFIELD, OR JUST ABOUT ANY OTHER SITUATION YOU NEED. THIS SWORD IS A FAITHFUL AND ACCURATE RE-CREATION OF THE ORIGINAL, AND IS A FAVORITE MODEL OF RE-ENACTORS & CAVALRY UNITS, AS WELL AS COLLECTORS!
During the American Civil War, swords were still the most widely used edged weapon on the battlefields. T were a variety of models issued to the troops, and this one was the most popular. The US 1860 Cavalry Saber was much lighter than earlier swords, thus the term "light" in the title. It was favored for this lighter weight, and was widely used by both Northern and Southern Troops. This replica is perfect for re-enactment use. General Terms and Conditions I try and describe my items to the best of my ability and note any visible flaws. I do not sell anything knowingly that is broken or missing parts. I will accept PayPal, postal money order or a bank cashiers check only, no personal checks. Postal Terms Shipping insurance is optional but I will not be responsible for items that are lost or damaged during shipping if no insurance is purchased. I have no control over the postal service, if you are in a hurry please pay for priority. If you want tracking numbers add 50¢ to your order and inform me when paying. Shipping costs are collected by me for the post office for delivery. Postage is non refundable, since you are not paying me to deliver.
