1860s Civil War Period Green Horn Handle Straight Razor

This auction is for a wonderful green horn handle straight razor that dates in and around the Civil War. The t tang of the blade is stamped Hunter & Son, Sheffield, and their Powder Horn stamped in the tang next to their name. The design of this handle and blade was that of razors made in the late 1850's early 1860's. It is in excellent plus condition with only a single tiny bug bite on the back handle. Just a great vintage razor for any collection. Especially, for the Civil War Reenactment Soldier that needs it for his shaving kit. No reserve so all can bid. Good Luck!

My Policies: The buyer pays the actual postage, insurance and for packaging material, if applicable. I round up on expenses, not down. But unlike other sellers, I do not charge a handling or a gasoline fee for going to the Post Office. All items are shipped by the US Postal Service unless we agree to something else, or an item requires to be shipped by ground transportation, then I use your preference. I do not ship everything by Priority Mail. If weight or size dictates Priority Mail then so be it. Otherwise, I will ship First Class Mail which is usually only a day later. I do not use the eBay Checkout System. I will send you an Invoice by email.
