This is a wonderful EAPG Flint Glass Egg Cup in the Ribbed Bellflower, Single Vine Bellflower or Bellflower pattern, circa 1860's by Boston Sandwich Glass Company . It stands approximately 3-7/8" tall and has a 2-1/2" rim diameter. The condition is excellent with NO chips, NO cracks and NO grinding. The clear flint glass has the expected flint 'ring' when 'pinged'. The clear glass has beautiful clarity with NO cloudiness and NO sickness. There is a tiny piece of white sediment trapped in the glass at the lower portion of the bowl, near the stem, which is visible in photos 4 and 5. We have viewed it under high magnification and this not a chip....it is clearly a tiny piece of white sediment, trapped during the 3-mold production process. Please see the photos which are part of the description. Also, be sure to see our other listings for additional EAPG glass as well as other antiques in various categories!
