This note is a "Contemporary Counterfeit" . There should be a black dot in the bottom of the big 5 located in the upper left corner of the note. It would be in the white circle that makes up the bottom end of the number. Also, the number 5 on the right side is missing a black dot too. This note is in good condition. I do not see any pin holes or tears in the note. The following message will appear oneach individual item up for auction…so if you’ve read this once….you probably won’t need to read it again . I have recently been selling Civil War tokens from a large family collection & have decided to take a break from that and switched over to the currency portion of the collection. You will be bidding on the following currency portion of the collection from the 1960’s & consisting of: Confederate States of America Currency United States Fractional Currency A total of ten (10) uncut sheets (four (4) notes per sheet) from The Bank of New England and Canal Bank of New Orleans. Please note that any prices and information located on the stickers for individual items was done by the original dealer “back in the day”.
