Coins & Currency by **COINFIENDER** On EBAY November 1st, 1862, $1.00 Obsolete Banknote from The Somerset & Worcester Savings Bank in Salisbury, Maryland. Certified by PCGS at Choice About New 55 with Premium Paper Quality. I 'n new at obsoletes, but I can't see why the note was graded so harshly, unless they took the hand trimming into consideration, as all bank notes were cut by hand. I have been told by Glen Jhorde from PMG that trimming istaken a little differently with hand trimmed notes as opposed to todays machine cut notes. I will see him Tuesday and get his opinion on this note and add it to a revision on Wednesday. An absolutely gorgeous note with beautiful artwork gracing the face, with nice clean and clear signatures. The reverse is absolutely mind boggling when you view the intricate designs. A very nice note for any collection of obsoletes. Ask about your payment options!! Paypal is accepted. Please contact us regarding other available options.
