This Civil War sword for musicians was a weapon of last resort. It issimilar to the NCO sword but without a counterguard. Ricasso is marked:"MADE BY / AMES MFG CO. / CHICOPEE MASS," although this has become hard to read. This is a nice addition to anyones authentic Civil War collection and i wish you good bidding.
