Botanicals - LOWE - NOTE: SIX PRINTS TOTAL (most of our listings are from mixed editions 1856 - 1872 - see descriptions below of BOTH the first edition 1856 - 59 and the later editions up to 1872) HOWEVER, this is an outstanding group of SIX (5-3/4" by 9-1/4") Woodsia, Aspidium, etc. all native to North America, and all from the 1863 edition and with a nearly even antique beige-white background. TITLES: Top Row, left to right: *Aspidium Angulare (Plate 24) - native of the United States, and others Woodsia Hyperborea - native of the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Mountains of Massachusetts at Saskatchewan, and others Aspidium Dilatum - native of the Rocky Mountains of Norht America, Canada, and others Bottom Row, left to right: Aspidium Cristatum - native of North America and others Polypodium Lycopodioides - native of the American Meridian, and others * Aspidium Angulare (Plate 23) - native of the United States and others Note: The Aspidium Angulare Plates 23 and 24 share a joint text section CONDITION: VERY GOOD, EXCEPT: there is light age toning at the margins, which can easily be matted out.
