Up for auction is a vintage letter that is datelined Belchertown, July 6, 1864. I will assume this would be the Massachusetts Belchertown. Letter was addressed to the Honorable J. (John) B. Hill. Letter starts out "Sir, I am in great need of money. Eddy's term bills ought to have been paid before----and I have othr liabilities. Mr. and Mrs. Bridgman are to leave for Saco-Pool on the 14th and are unwilling to leave me alone.................." Text of letter uses 2 pages sof the 4 page set.
