Civil War Era Autograph Book NY State Senate & Executive Chamber 1864 150+ Signatures We Have some Interesting Documents Listed This Week. Please Take A Moment To view Our Other Sales. 41 Scan(s) to View Description :..Offered is an 1864 autograph book from Albany NY signed by assorted officials with several mentioning the Union. I counted 152 signatures in the book and have included some of their congressional history below. T are many other signatures I did not check. You can google these names and look under wiki or the political graveyard for yourself. signatures from the Executive Chamber, and State Senate are noted on the first page with additional senator signatures, assemblymen, comptrollers, etc. T are a few pages that are loose and the binding and boards have wear and loose to the leather.I have tried to keep the size of the 41 pics small enought to load but large enough to read the sigs. A few are fuzzy, sorry but my hands shake. We sold a similar book from the 1850s assembly a little over a year ago. Since this reference the Union in several signatures we thought a modest reserve is warranted. I should ad the book does not have an owners name in it but t is a reference to a signer mentioning "Friend Howell" before he signs so I am guessing the person my have had the last name of Howell.
