1864 SPANISH PHILIPPINES 4 PESOS GOLD COIN 1864 SPANISH PHILIPPINES 4 PESOS GOLD COIN For auction is a Genuine Gold coin minted for the Philippines which was a Spanish colony until 1898. The obverse has a laureated bust of Queen Isabella II (b1830-d1904) with the Spanish legend reads ISABELLA II FOR THE GRACE OF GOD AND THE CONSTITUTION. The reverse has the Spanish coat of arms with the denomination at the sides. The top legend reads QUEEN OF THE SPAINS and the bottom is the Spanish colony's name FILIPINAS (Philippines). The gold coin has a diameter of about 21.25mm(53.5/64") and a thickness of about 1.5mm(3.8/64"). The coin is Uncertified and the condition is Circulated but I can assure you this is a very nice gold coin and at its Very Fine Condition (VF). The coin has NOT been cleaned and the images are UNALTERED and taken under natural lighting. I am not a professional grader so Bidder base your bid on the images for grade and quality because the coin you are looking at is the coin you will receive. The images are not stock photos. Notice the extra gold between 6 and 4 in the year 1864, I consider this an extra variety/error that make this gold coin worth much more than a regular by the same grade.
