Highly Illustrated Book with Fashions, Textiles, Hairdos, etc. from 1865.T are some color illustrations in this bookTitled: GODEY'S LADIES BOOK and MAGAZINE 1865The cover has many issues in its condition, much of the first 30 pages are missing, but t are over 500 more pages.The illustrations are too numerous to count, many are colored. Even though the condition of the book is NOT GOOD, I felt t was merit in its contents, for reading or salvaging the illustrations of the fashions.To the collector of textiles, vintage clothing, those with an interest in the hairstyles, fashion, everything ladies had an interest in pursuing, in that Post Civil War era..Advertisements, magazine articles, poems, stories for and about young women.I Hope this book will be of interest to someone, it has been will read in the past, hopefully in the future as well. .Offered with a Low Opening Bid and No RESERVE.
