Description This is an Amazing, Rare, Early Union Army Artillery Officer's Civil War dress sword. This wonderful Old piece has a Great, Early design, with a Stunning engraved blade, marked "U.S." & featuring the crossed Canons Artillery symbol, has a Brass & Leather grip, marked "US", it's Original Scabbard, is marked Tiffany Co - 1865, measures approx. 38.5" long overall, is a Rare piece to Find and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. This was recently aquired from a Very Impressive Antique Militaria collection in Virginia, in which only the finest was included, and this is believed to be an Original, Civil War period item. We've sold 100's of Original, Period Civil War items, and those buyers have always been very pleased with authenticity.
