1865 VERMONT MEDICAL SCHOOL Lecture Ticket OBSTETRICS UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT MEDICAL DEPARTMENT Session of 1865 ticket to lectures in Obstetrics and Diseases of Women and Children was issued to J. H. Jackson. The instructor is J. Perkins, MD, who is Doctor Joseph Perkins of Castleton, Vermont. The student, J. Henry Jackson, practiced in Barre, Vermont and was one of the incorporators of Barre City Hospital, president of Barre Savings Bank, Superintendent of Barre Schools, Mayor of Barre and candidate for governor of Vermont in 1896. The ticket measures 4 x 5 3/8" and is in very good condition with spotting. It is offered as issued and was not removed from an album. Click on the image above to see an enlarged scan of this ticket.
