This is an original political card from around 1866, when Morton McMichael took office as the mayor of Philadelphia. It has a great verse and a cartoon depicting his defeat of Daniel Fox. However, Fox did win in the next election and was mayor from 1869 to 1872. This card measures about 3" by 5½" and has very little handling wear. The back has four glue spots, where it was pasted into a scrapbook. See our list for more cards, Salt River tickets and other political ephemera! We will combine shipping for auctions that end the same day. Shipping and Handling Costs Shipping & handling is always disclosed in the auction before you bid.
