This auction is for a 1867-1967 Canadian Royal Mint Proof Set with a Twenty Dollar -- $20.00 Gold Coin. Seven (7) coins in all. Original case and box. This set was issed in 1967 by the Royal Canadian Mint for the centenary of Canada's Independence in 1867. The set was recently found in the safety deposit box of a relative who did business in Canada. I know nothing about coins and have no idea how to grade coins. I had a hard time photographing the set. The set has not seen the light of day until just recently. They appear to be in nice condition, but have some change of color. The gold coin weighs 18+ grams on my postal scale. The silver dollar weighs 23+ grams, but I can't vouch for how accurate it is. The gold coin has no discoloration that I can see and looks just beautiful. The coins are being sold "as is". No returns.
