Full Leather Binding . ( see condition details below ) Stamped & Gilt Leather Decoration. All Page Edges Gilt. Color-coated Endpapers. Gilt Dentelle Binding Decoration. [ dentelle is a decorative pattern tooled onto inside edge of boards ] 3.75" x 5.75" 1,278 Pages . 148 Years Old The Holy Bible , in a Decorated Leather Binding , King James version , published in New York soon after the end of the American Civil War . Name on front endpaper, in old ink " Wm. H. White " ** Condition ** This Bible has one major condition flaw: the rear cover is lacking . ( see the photos ) Otherwise, it's in Quite Nice Condition, with just a little rubbing to the leather. The front cover is firmly attached, and the spine leather is Very Good. On the front endpaper is written " Wm. H. White " in old ink. The Pages are Clean, with no foxing at all, and just a very few small, minor finger-smudges. The Pages are otherwise in Very Good Condition, throughout. All Pages Are Present . Missing the rear cover, but otherwise Very Nice.
