This is the lot for you! Rare and Unique item from the past! Here is something you do not see all the time!! Found in an old steamer trunk. Came from Alexandria,Virginia! Wow! Document is dated 1868-96 and from Alexandria,Va.! (4) documents in this archive.Rare never before seen original Portner Brewery history here! Their is a couple of documents here with the name of Frederick Recker. If you did not know! Frederick Recker was a business partner with Robert Portner in the 1860's! They had a Grocery store business together. This first document is dated 1868. Also another one with a stamp on it! Also dated 1868. Robert H.Bashaw the name at the top.Was an interesting family their in the 19th century! Then we have another document here. Also Robert Bashaw is buying Ale from Robert Portner! 142 years ago in Alexandria! What is the survival rate of an archive such as this? One of a kind lot. Robert is paying his Ale (Beer)tap in1869! Just a few years after the Civil War! Probably rarer then Hens teeth is this lot! The document is handwritten. Mentions both Robert and Otto Portner. Also incuded is a collection/debt letter from Attorney in Charleston,
