1868 bank check from the First National Bank, Washington, DC. Cut canceled and grades VF(pin holes in bank), large view of the bank @ L, R-15 revenue stamp. Signed at the lower R by President "Andrew Johnson" (1808-1875). Johnson was a congressmen and senator from Tennesse as well as governor of Tennessee. He was elected Vice President in 1864 and served until President Lincoln's assassination in April of 1865. Cut cancel affects signiture, no paper loss, small piece missing below signature in margin. $10.00 P/H
