1870 AQUA GLASS POOR MAN'S FAMILY BITTERS EMBOSSED BOTTLE WITH ORIGINAL PAPER LABEL This is an antique aqua glass bottle embossed bottle with the original paper label and stamp on top from 1870. Bottle is advertises for "Poor Man's Family Bitters" and has never been opened and still has the contents inside. Bottle has a wrap-around label on the front that advertises for all the cures that Poor Man's Family Bitters cures. The embossing of "Poor Man's Family Bitters" is on the back side. Paper label is full and in great shape overall. It's hard to find these with labels at all. Please see pictures for reference. Medicine bottle has no chips or cracks and has a cork-top with stamp on top dated November of 1870. Product was "Manufactured by Poor Man's Bitters Company Oswego, N.Y.". Measures 6 and 1/4" tall by 2 and 3/4" wide by 1 and 3/4" thick. We got this from an old drug store in Salem, New Jersey years ago and we are selling it out of our museum.
