Moondog Antiques DESCRIPTION: 1870's Antique Wicker Rocker ~ Heywood & Wakefield ~ Same Family for 5 Generations! ORIGIN: American AGE: 130+ Years MATERIAL(S): Wicker SIZE: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Family is willing to share the geneaology of the Chair in their family for the past 5 generations! We nor the family can find any label or marks, etc on chair to confirm it is Heywood & Wakefield piece. Given it's age that is not surprising no label to be found. The 6th generation has decided that they do not want the rocker. Tfore, the sole surivor of the 5th generation & current own has decided to sell it. The chair is in excellent condition after all of these years! The only thing is a recent small hole has developed in the seat of the chair. See our pictures. The chair;'s frame is not broken, it's solid, the design screams Heywood & Wakefield, plus the age tells us it is one of t earliest pieces.
