This settee is from a 3 piece parlor set. All pieces are on auction.
Height: 32 inches
Width: 48 inches
Depth: 23 inches
This settee is from a remarkable 1870's 3-piece parlor set that is a transitional piece between Sheridan and Empire. This solid mahogany piece has the smooth Sheridan curves with the Empire carved claw feet. The furniture came out of a Victorian home in the foothills of the Blue Mountains of Pennsylvania. We stripped it to the frame and reupholstered it in a red fabric with yellowy, butter cream Eiffel towers throughout it. The settee is in mint condition, no one has sat on it yet!
