See the photos of this all original grouping of two vintage fireman photographs, one made in the 1860s or 1870s and the larger one made in the 1880s or 1890s. The photographer is the same for both and I'm guessing the fireman was from the Wilmington NC area. His name, NICHOLAS JACOBS, is written in modern ink on the back of one. The back mark is H.CRONENBERG,WILMINGTON NC. The photos show him in his uniform, helmet, badge, fire horn, belt and buckle, etc. Great content! Both photos are in very nice condition with no problems. They are not light. The cabinet card and carte de visite look much better in "person". See the Confederate ambrotype I've also listed. (I turned 61 years old this year and I have decided to sell some of my Civil War era and related photos. Most of these I bought in the 1980s when I had money.)Shipping, handling and tracking is only $7.99 anywhere in the continental US! OUTSIDE the US, $29.99.
