This is a great way to get one of the rarest and generally most expensive coins in the series (excluding the 1856 as it is both technically a part of a different series, and because it tends to be out of reach with the majority of collectors) in a highly-detailed state for a price that won't break the bank. This coin's surface does feature some minor porosity, however, it shows strong details for this particular date, particularly at such a price. The obverse features a highly distinct, full "Liberty," fully-detailed feathers throughout the headpiece, and a ribbon showing a solid 2.5 Diamonds. The reverse does not show any readily visible wear, and in that regard is much closer to what one expects to see on an average to mid-grade AU than on the wreath and lettering of something sold as XF details. Although it is not particularly distracting or noticeable, there is, as can be seen in the images, a small indent or two into the n in one, as well as a very minor diagonal dip running diagonally downwards and to the right from the N in Cent.
