Including statistics of coal production in different areas, a discussion on the perils of mining and a history of early coal mining. Andrew Roy was the state inspector of mines in Ohio. CONDITION In a full cloth binding. Externally, slightly rubbed with bumping, rubbing and starting hinges. Internally, generally firmly bound, bright and clean. There are copperplate inscriptions to the front free endpaper, the verso of the titlepage and to the rear free endpaper.
