This auction is for an antique Seth Thomas Double Dial CALENDAR CLOCK in a rosewood veneer case. It is dated 1876 and was made in Thomaston, CT. The clock is MODEL 6 3/4 and in good running order. The movement has been recently cleaned and oiled and is running fine. The case has some cosmetic issues. T is some veneer loss to the top edge and side of the case. The upper dial has had overpaint added and the lower dial has some also. You will probably want to replace both upper and lower dial faces. These replacement dials are readily available online and cost about 15-20.00 and are EXACT replacements. The clock measures 32" x 15.5" x 5" and the movement is stamped SETH THOMAS Thomaston CT 6 3/4. This is a great clock that only need some minor cosmetic work to be brought back to its original beauty. The clock has a book value of 1500, my opening bid is 500 and t is no reserve. Please email me if you have any questions, thank you. See my other auctions for some additional antique clocks. Please rest assured that this clock will be well packed to insure a safe arrival.
