Up for your auction.............. This bayonet is in excellent condition. t are no dents in the scabbard. mild pitting. the blade is almost Mint. no nicks, no pitting, very shiny. has not been sharpened and point is sharp. it does have the usual writing on top of the blade. with the year 1877. does have the M & S stamp near the handle. the spring locking device operates smooth. no dings or damage to the brass end. bayonet measures handle to tip; approx. 25 1/2". with scabbard measures 26". has not been cleaned or tampered with.
