On offer is a rare Royal Worcester slops bowl in the Royal Lily pattern. This pattern dates back to the late 1700's and was originally called Blue Lily. It was renamed Royal Lily after 1788 following a visit to the factory by King George III who ordered a breakfast service in this pattern. The pattern is predominantly blue on white and has an iron red rim and gilding to the deep blue borders. A stunning piece of antique Royal Worcester. Markings: the base has the green Royal Worcester backstamp along with the letter M which dates the bowl to 1877. There are also a couple of initials in blue. Approximate size: 71mm (2.8") high and 160mm (6.3") in diameter. Condition: in excellent order with no chips, cracks or restoration, just a few light contact marks. Post and packing will be by 1 st Class Recorded Delivery at a cost of £3.95 within the UK. Insured post to Europe will cost £11.25 and to the rest of the world it will cost £16.00 Multiple sales will always be combined where practical to reduce overall postage costs.
