1878 Reed & Barton Silver Plated Victorian Decanter This is a Antique 1878 Victorian Silver Plated Decanter made be Reed & Barton of Taunton, Mass. It is #1842. Marked on the bottom Mfg & Plated by Reed & Barton, Patented Aug 4 1868 and May 18th 1878. It is also marked on the inside of the lid rim Reed and Barton. It is in very fine condition for its age with several small minor dings in one side that could be taken out if you so desired and the ceramic insert has a v shaped crack in the top that you can see in pic #5 at the back. It measures 6 1/2" in diameter across the bottom not counting he handle or spout and it is 13" tall.
