W e are offering a beautiful example of an antique Victorian Bible. The leather boards are deeply sculpted, skillfully tooled and lavishly gilded in gold leaf. The pages are edged in gold as well, all the way around this magnificent Bible.
The Binding is solid and the hinges are intact, please see photos. Less than normal rubbing on corners and edges. This is a usable 129 year old Bible. As stated, it is quite large at 12 3/4 tall by 11 wide by 4 deep. It w eighs 12 1/4 pounds. The very desirable Brass Clasps are in perfect working order.
