Up for auction is an authentic 1800's painted cast iron mechanical bank "I always did spise a mule". On the bottom of the base it is patented April 22 nd 1879. The bank is all original with original paint in very vivid colors. Even though the bank is in good condition t are a few minor problems with the mechanism. The left back hoof does not stay in place and t is a missing spring from the right harness to the bottom of the front legs. The round cup for closure on the bottom of the base is missing, the riders left thumb and hat tip are also missing. I am selling this bank as is, so please look at all the pictures carefully and also feel free to ask any questions. Buyer pays for shipping and insurance. I accept money orders, cashiers checks or personal checks. Please allow 7-10 days for personal checks to clear. I do NOT accept Paypal. Thanks for watching and good luck!
