An unusually full set of letterpress wood type, 2" height, upper, lower case, numerals, ligatures, punctuation, and spacers, 188 pieces total. Style is san serif, condensed bold. Two capital S pieces show damage.I bought this set at auction around 1977 from Letter Street and Zost Printers, Berkeley, CA, who was going out of business. It has sat in storage, unused since then. This is solid wood type, no veneers. Some of the type has a little wear and a few dings but is in remarkably good shape. Great for artist, printers, collectors. Type case is not included. Will ship to U.S. only.
