I recently acquired a nice lot of 19th century to early 20th century Flow Blue and transferware pieces. Win multiple items and I'll happily combine shipping charges to $ave you $ome money$$$!!!Item: Flow Blue Handled Gravy Boat Date: c. 1880 Maker: Unknown Pattern: La Francaise, Semi Vitreous, A5 (form) Size: 8" long, 3 1/2" tall Prominent Colors: White with Flow Blue styling around the lip and handle, gold floral accents Attributes/Key Words: Aesthetic Movement, Flowers, White porcelain General Condition Report: Regarding all of the pieces - in many cases, the applied gold is worn partially or completely missing. Most pieces have crazing and some have minor bruising to the underside, not a big deal in my opinion. Anything that is worth reporting, I have taken additional close-up photographs, and reported below. I think these would all be fine additions to any collection. This particular piece: The floral accents are applied gold. Not a lot of gold accent, but I would say it is 80% in tact; losses not terribly detrimental. This piece has NO chips, nicks, cracks, or crazing. Simply elegant. Overall Condition: Very Good Weighs 11 ounces unboxed, will ship at 1 to 2 pounds. Please see shipping tab for rates and methods.
