This extremely rare and valuable item is ORIGINAL SKETCHES FOR ART FURNITURE IN THE JACOBEAN, QUEEN ANNE, ADAMS, AND OTHER STYLES by A. Jonquet, published by Batsford in 1880. Second edition with several more pages than the first. It's a loose collection of reproductions of Jonquet's furniture drawings unbound in a hardcover folio. 11 x 15 inches, complete with all 65 folio pages included. I would call it Good condition overall, with most of the pages in good shape. The general problem, as with all unbound folios such as this, is page-edge wear and chipping, which fortunately is only a problem for a few pieces in the book. A number of plates have minor scuffing and there are very tiny tears on some. A few have minor corner creases. Plate 29 looks like it has fallen on the ground at some point and has gotten discolored in its lower half.
